Corn Chowder

Cook 6 Slices of Bacon Set aside

Cook 1/2 Onion Chopped in 2 T bacon grease in large pot.  Add 2 stalks of chopped celery and 2-3 Cubed potatoes.  Cover with just enough water to cook for 20 min or until potatoes are soft.  Add 2 bay leaf while cooking.  Do NOT Drain.  Add 1 can Creamed corn.  Crumbled bacon, 1 C. Canned milk or half and half.
Add 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.  Salt and pepper to taste.  Heat but do not boil.
